My first impression after seeing the app after I downloaded it on my iPhone was: ‘what a wonderful colors’ selection (they used PANTONE color palette)! Clean, uncomplicated and user-friendly experience’ it gives you at a glance when you try to figure out how to manage the very initial steps. You are guided to do not make any mess and the idea of numerous suggestions about how to set it up to meet your own family’s needs is just marvelous!

RoosterMoney is an iPhone, iPad app developed by World Learning Ltd available on AppStore and GooglePlay that is intended to be a digital teacher who explains and practices saving concept to your kids, pocket money and allowance tracking. Sometimes it’s hard to make yourself clear about how the pocket money can be earned and easy the chores and goals to be forgotten. Well…not anymore!

But there is another positive aspect of this great app, for me most important than savings. At least for now. When RoosterMoney poped-up and went live, at that time I was in desperate search for ideas. My son started the school and there was an urgent need of a token system to be used during classes, visually understandable and extremely user-friendly for both, kid and teachers. Once the goal is achieved, the chosen reinforcer can be ‘deployed’!

RoosterMoney is an amazing TOKEN SYSTEM if you switch from giving money to donating stars! It’s crystal clear how to do it, what has to be done and how much there still need to be done to achieve the chosen goal.

It works as a smart digital money-box. You can use stars for younger children that don’t have the understanding of how money work and they will be more likely happy to work with those magical stars to collect in order to accomplish the task and get a reward that you, parent (or both of you), establish before.

For more advanced users – the stars (money) you earn you can spend, save or donate!

So in very poor words, they work for something that you can both decide will be their reward, collecting money or stars and they are visually able to control the state of their position and the distance to the fibish line. What else to add? You can manage them all by yourself or you can add other ‘adult operator’ as I say. If you have to run the token system for more than one kid-no problem. Have fun!
