I know that a lot of parents struggle with it as kids try to keep in their hands an unthinkable number of stuff falling down on the floor, street and rolling down the stairs etc.
As you know my son’s loved toys are … not toys at all. Well maybe I should say not toys for little boys. Let’s start with the noisy one.
1. Baoding Chinese BallsRinging balls! So two great features in one. To work well it should be double. Regularly in offer as a 2 peaces kit in a small cute box. You can find them simple monochrome or colourful. Originally used in Chinese unconventional medicine as a relaxation article that stimulates acupuncture points in hand which promotes relaxation. You have to hold both balls in one hand and rotate them in circles. Small, round, shiny and ringing gently. Absolutely number one for me
2. Tegu Pocket Pouch magnetic wooden block set. Smart choice for kids who love wooden toys and the magic of magnets. No lead, no plastic, water-based lacquer finish pieces big enough also for kids under 3. Have you ever tried to build a wooden block tower in the car while traveling? Ha! Now you can manage the construction process without any static problem
3. Plus-PlusColourful plastic puzzle for 2D mosaic and 3D construction play. Simple shaped bricks and endless possibilities. Big option suitable for age under 3. Smaller pieces better do not use with younger kids as there might be risk of choking. Extraordinary product also for ABA – colours, pattern learning and counting.
4. Kai Li Magnetic BallsThe only negative thing is that it sticks to every metal objects. You can create every shape you want – from geometric shapes to jewellery designs. Easy to clean, light and handy. Non toxic and tasteless. My son was absolutely addicted to this toy. my husband as well. They were rotating this little balls in their hands making click-clack sound for hours. I had to hide the magnets and make them available only on request. Believe me – that one works perfectly!
5. LEGO Old school classicalways wins! Same shape – different colour rule. BTW we learned to ‘continue a pattern’ goal with LEGO and it was so much fun!
